A vacancy has arisen for a Cadet Administrative Assistant with the 1st(Northern Ireland) Battalion Army Cadet Force (ACF). This is a full-time post based at Lowfield Camp Army Cadet Centre in Ballymena.

This post requires previous stores/warehouse experience, a current Cat B driving licence and strong IT skills, with particular emphasis on MS Office applications.

This is a Crown Servant Grade E1 full-time post. The post holder will be required to work a 42.5 hour week (excluding lunchbreaks), on an All-Hours-Worked contract.

The salary for the appointment at commencement is £24,656 per annum. The successful candidate will be eligible to elect to join the Council of RFCAs pension scheme. This is a Career Average Revalued Earnings scheme (CARE).

The successful candidate on appointment will be entitled to 25 days’ annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays.

This role is for a probationary period of 6 months in the first instance.
