Financial Support

The RFCA NI have a process where units can bid for grants to support various activities which the Reserves undertake throughout the year. Such activities range from participating in the Nijmegen Marches in Holland, mountain climbing in Majorca, trekking through Yosemite National Park in California or skiing in the Alps.

The same opportunity exists for cadet organisations, who have travelled to Canada to participate in adventure training with the Canadian Army Cadets, travelling to Arnhem in the Netherlands to participate in a gruelling Airborne March of 18km to commemorate Operation MARKET GARDEN from WW2.

A simple application can be submitted to the Finance Committee who will assess the merits of each application.  In 2023 RFCA NI awarded £25,079.57 and the amount granted this year so far (Oct 24) is £8,528.61.
