LOCAL NORTHERN IRELAND COMPANIES …PING GROUP AND WHITESPACE SIGN THE ARMED FORCES COVENANT

We at RFCA NI were delighted to host with our colleagues in Defence Relationship Management (DRM) a formal signing of the Armed Forces Covenant. We welcomed senior representatives from the PING group and Whitespace.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a UK wide pledge by the nation to ensure that those who serve or have previously served in the Armed Forces, as well as their families are treated fairly and with respect in society.

Speaking at the event Aiden O’Hagan, Commercial Director, PING Group said “We have had multiple previous opportunities to engage, recruit and work alongside ex and current armed forces personnel.

We have found this to be a very positive experience and are delighted to be able to formally extend this into the future under the Armed Forces Covenant, particularly given, that our key verticals for growth are Aerospace, Airport operations and Defence contracts.

We know from previous experience that the calibre of employee required for these ventures can be found in this environment and will make a positive contribution to our growth strategy”.

During the signing Paul Jenkinson, Chief Executive at Whitespace, added “we work at the heart of Defence and National Security, helping organisations cut costs and boost productivity through secure, deployable AI. But our commitment goes beyond technology”.
