In a new first for Northern Ireland, Bangor Senior Prefects Leadership Day was a team-building event bringing together various schools for a day of leadership and learning conducted by reservists from 204 (NI) Field Hospital and 253 (NI) Medical Regiment. Teams of senior school prefects from Bangor Grammar, Bangor Academy, Glenlola Collegiate and St Columbanus’ College all took part in team building activities, in small groups, conducting both leader and leaderless tasks. All tasks were challenging, some physical, some mental, others a combination of the two.
The overarching aim of the day was to develop leadership by exposing the prefects to various activities and discussions in order to push personal boundaries, whilst having fun. RFCA NI Media Team were there and caught up with various people involved in the day.
