GIDEONS SPREAD THE WORD

Millions of people around the world are familiar with the ethos of Gideons thanks to its policy of providing Bibles in hotel rooms, to be read by travellers, but that is just one element of the work of this fast-growing international organisation.

Since it was established in America in 1903 its Christian ministry has progressively expanded to include many other areas of Bible distribution and Gideon International members around the world are also committed to personal testimony and a range of work on behalf of the association.

This week the mid-Antrim branch of Gideons International presented Testaments to teenage Cadets and to Army Reserves from the 2nd Battalion, The Royal Irish Regiment.

Below: David Henry and Wesley Coulter were also delighted to present Gideon Testaments to Ballymena woman Jayne Parkhill, a Civilian Instructor with the Sea Cadets, and Sea cadet Lewis Allison from Ballymena’s Training Ship Waveney.
