In glorious sunshine, Northern Ireland Sea Cadets held their rowing regatta under the shadow of Samson and Goliath in the Belfast Titanic Quarter.
If that wasn’t enough, TS John Jerwood (the Sea Cadets’ offshore powerboat training vessel), and HMS Smiter and HMS Ranger (two of the Royal Navy’s P2000 patrol vessels) were in town, only adding to the amazing backdrop.
Around 230 cadets, volunteers, friends and family brought about an amazing atmosphere for the day.
Congratulations to the winning teams from Carrickfergus and Bangor who will now go forward to the National Competition later in the year. Also, special congratulations to the Junior teams from Newtownards, Bangor and Belfast Eagle Units and a big well done to Bangor for winning the staff race!
