The Northern Ireland (NI) Veteran Health and Wellbeing Study (VHWS) is a unique large scale tri-service research project funded by the Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT) and the Big Lottery Fund. The study is being conducted by Dr Cherie Armour and a team of researchers from the Psychology Research Institute at Ulster University in partnership with the NI Veteran Support Committee (NIVSC). It will run for a period of four years; completing in 2019.
During this project the team will be inviting veterans who are resident in Northern Ireland to participate in the research. This will include provision of anonymous details about you [the veteran], completion of an online survey, and taking part in an interview on your own or alongside other veterans.
If you would like to add your anonymous details to our databank which we will use to estimate the size of the veteran population, please click here to complete our short (2mins) survey.
If you would like further information on the project or wish to get involved further, please contact [email protected] or call 028 7012 4872.
