Congratulations to CADET SERGEANT STEWART PROBERT, Knockbreda Detachment, 2(NI) Bn ACF on the award of the Royal Humane Society Resuscitation Certificate.
The Resuscitation Certificate is a prestigious award that goes back to the origins of the RHS. It is awarded for successfully restoring life to those who have ceased breathing. This may be the first example of an award being made where a casualty has stopped breathing as a result of an obstructed airway restored by abdominal thrusts in circumstances where a life was thereby saved.
Congratulations to Cdt Sgt Probert for his quick thinking and skillful action in saving a life.
