The Royal British Legion in Northern Ireland, offer sincere thanks for the level of support offered by local uniformed personnel to this year’s Belfast City Poppy Day on Saturday 28th October.
They had a fantastic day, with over 800 people visiting the Pop-In Centre, and hundreds more interacting with staff and volunteers outside where a lot of the attractions were, including a “petting zoo”!
The presence of uniformed personnel made everything much more relevant, both for staff and also for the many members of the public who paid a visit. It was fantastic to have all three Services represented and to see them all fully engaging with the public.
