RESERVES DAY RECOGNITION RECEPTION

Sgt Sarah Close from 253 (NI) Med Regt was proud to accept her invitation to the Reserves Day Recognition Reception held in London and hosted by the Secretary of State for Defence.  The event was open to nominated Reservists from across the UK and also their employers.  It offered a chance for employers to see first-hand the recognition of their staff and also re-enforced the importance of Reserves when reflecting on the bigger picture.  It more importantly recognised the value behind employers’ support for the Armed Forces in allowing their employees time off for training and other events.  A proud day for both Reservist and employer.
