Recently we were delighted to host our Annual General Meeting at the historic Ulster Reform Club. Over 80 attendees joined us including several distinguished guests and representatives from across the Defence community within Northern Ireland. We were privileged to hear from our Chair, Commodore Martin Quinn and Chief Executive Brigadier Michael Murdoch MBE, along with three inspiring speakers:
Brigadier Piers Ashfield DSO MBE, Commanding Officer of the Army in Northern Ireland, who shared valuable insights into the current state of Defence.
Second Lieutenant Joanne Nutt, Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV) from 1st NI Battalion, who spoke passionately about her experiences and the many rewards of volunteering, reflecting on her journey from a former cadet through to a CFAV.
Cadet Regimental Sergeant Thomas Duncan from Lisnagarvey Combined Cadet Force ( CCF) who gave an engaging talk about his time with the cadets and the highlights of serving as a Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet.
It was a fantastic event celebrating leadership, service and the continued strength of our Defence community in Northern Ireland.
We were delighted to share our latest Annual Report 2025, at the event.
