Congratulations to PO Gareth, from Northern Ireland District, who has won the Royal Navy Peregrine Photography competition, for his entry ‘Teamwork up the yards’!
The Royal Navy has run the competition every year since 1962, encouraging acting members of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines to create eye-catching, powerful imagery. There are six categories: HM Ships, RN aircraft, trade activities, ceremonial, recreational activities and a free open subject, as well as a special category exclusively for Sea Cadets.
Gareth took the photo last year whilst on TS Royalist, where he impressed the crew so much, he was awarded the Martin Henwood trophy, a special award for demonstrating the best Sea Cadet qualities whilst on board.
