VACANCY – HEAD OF ESTATES

A vacancy has arisen for the post of Head of Estates with the Reserve Forces and Cadets Association for Northern Ireland (RFCA NI). This is a full-time post based at our Head Office in Belfast.

The successful candidate will be required to supply advice to the Chief Executive and Board of RFCA (NI) and is responsible for the effective delivery of hard and soft Facilities Management (FM) services to a variety of Reserve and Cadet properties across the region through management of the estates team.

The successful applicant will have a professional third-level qualification in a building, surveying or construction related discipline and ideally hold membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or similar. Ideally applicants should be able to demonstrate successful managerial experience in middle or senior Estates management positions.

The salary for the appointment at commencement is £40,000 (Crown Servant Grade C1 full-time post). The post holder will be required to work a 37 hour week (excluding lunchbreaks). The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Council of RFCA Pension Scheme which operates a Career Average Revalued Earnings Scheme (CARE).

The successful candidate will be required to serve a probationary period of six months and final confirmation of the appointment is dependent upon the satisfactory completion of this probationary period.

The successful candidate will be required to be Security Cleared (SC).
